College Football Team Defeats University of Penn JV's 14-0

The Valley Forge Military College Football team traveled to historic Franklin Field to take on the University of Pennsylvania Quakers. The Trojan defense continued it's dominance shutting out the Quakers. The Defense held the Penn running game in check allowing just 22 yards rushing. The Defense was again led by Fr. Linebacker Tyrie Blow-Tydings who led the way with 10 tackles. So. Linebacker Gerald Poleon and Fr. Demetrius Hudson contributed with 9 and 7 tackles respectively. Hudson also had 2 sacks on the day. Team Captain Nasir Walker and So. Wuanyay Green each had an interception. The Offense began to find it's stride when So. running back Rashaad Muhammad opened the scoring on a two yard plunge into the end zone. So. QB Austin Scott threw for 177 yards on the day including a 70 yard touchdown strike to WR. Shamar Harry.

The Trojans are home for the first time this season as they will host Army Saturday  Sept. 22nd at 1:00 PM
