College Football Team Loses Close Encounter with Princeton JV 14-7

Valley Forge traveled to New Jersey to take on the Princeton Tigers. The Tigers jumped out to an early 14-0 lead. The Trojan defense which was dominant throughout the game settled in and held the Tigers in check for the remainder of the game. The Defense was lead by KJ Lawrence who had 9 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss. Nasir Walker followed up his strong play with 7 tackles. Solomon Alexander and Gerald Poleon each had a sack, while Line Backer Kevon Kingsborough scored for the defense.

Offensively the Trojans could not find a rhythm. While they moved the ball they could not find the end zone. The Offense was lead by Freshman AJ Gaymon who had a spectacular 60 yard run in the second quarter.

The Trojans will again take to the road as they visit the University of Pennsylvania Quakers this Sunday at Franklin Field for a 4:00 PM Kick Off.
